Advertising and affiliate disclosure
This site is free because of advertising and affiliate links. Here is exactly how that works, and what it doesn't influence.

How this site makes money
At the moment, it does not. Wish-Birthday.com carries no advertising, no affiliate links, no sponsored posts and no paid placements of any kind. Nothing on this site earns anyone a commission, and nobody has paid for anything here to be written, worded or ranked a particular way.
It is free to use and there is no account to create.
If that changes
It may. Running a site costs money, and advertising or affiliate links are the usual way a free site covers that. If we introduce either, we will update this page before it appears, not afterwards, and we will say exactly what we have added.
Two commitments that will not change if we do:
- No wish on this site will ever be sponsored. Every birthday message here was written for this site, and nobody will be able to pay for one to be included, worded a certain way, or placed higher in a list.
- Any affiliate link will be marked where it appears, not only mentioned on this page. Disclosure that you have to go looking for is not disclosure.
What we do not accept
- Paid guest posts and paid links. If you email offering either, we will decline.
- Free products in exchange for coverage.
- Payment to remove or alter a page.
Why this page exists at all
A site with nothing to disclose could reasonably skip this page. We publish it because a site that tells you plainly how it is funded is easier to trust than one that leaves you guessing — and because when the answer changes, you will have somewhere to check.
